We would like you to participate in a new activity, a contest! Everyone does either a piece of artwork or a poem about frogs and our board of three judges will decide which is the best! The award, repeated emails containing bookmarks, posters and other things related to frogs! The deadline is November 30. We'd love it if you would participate, so please do! Some Sad Facts

While writing a report on frogs I learned some really sad facts. Before 1980 one frog species would go extinct every 250 years. Now since 1980, a period of thirty years, 200 species of frogs have gone extinct. It usually takes 5,000 years for that many species to die, not thirty! Also 3,000 out of the 6,000 species of frogs are extinct. We need to save frogs!

Save Frogs Day

Hooray! For once frogs got the publicity to their problems they deserve. For last April 30 it will be Save the Frogs Day. This was celebrated all over the world. There was be art contests, competitions, writing contests and much more. There was rallies in their favor. Last April 30 I hope you celebrated frogs by entering a competition, or going to a rally. Look into it today, save frogs! (Save the Frogs day is celebrated every April 30, so if you didn't celebrate last April, celebrate this upcoming April!)

Welcome to the blog. As I mentioned above I will make posts on any frog news, but especially red-eyed tree frogs. Sadly though red-eyed tree frogs are one of the most endangered species of frogs. because they live in the rain forest, the threat is worse. People are cutting down the rain forest every single day, so their habitat is almost GONE!
